Daisy Jones and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid ★★★★★

A beautiful young red head laying on the grass her hair spread out surrounded by bright daisies
I am not a muse.
I am the somebody.
End of fucking story.
- Daisy Jones

Young man in jeans and a denim jack looking into the distance
Passion is... it’s fire.
And fire is great, man.
But we’re made of water.
Water is how we keep living.
Water is what we need to survive.
My family was my water.

- Billy Dunn

Descend into the 70s: sex and drugs without limit ungently wringing the music from your soul.

This story was moments of genius drowning in angst. Soulmates meeting, both too late and at exactly the right time.

Pain can make beautiful music.

Daisy Jones and the Six was Goldsboro Books March 2019 Book of the Month. I received 411/700, signed by the author, with sprayed edgings and an exclusive cover. Gleeful!

*audible note: This was the crème de la crème of audiobooks. A full cast of actors tearing their hearts open. Jennifer Beals is going to win an Audie for this performance.
