Magic Slays (Kate Daniels #5) by Ilona Andrews ★★☆☆☆

This series has jumped the shark.
Julie, the second most annoying character, was about to die. This was going to be character building for Kate and several others; toughen them up. 

That’s not what happened. 

I can’t take two Kates in a book.
Goodbye Kate Daniels series, I won’t miss you.

    Great review, Lena! Too bad that the series nose-dived for you. Sounds like it has been an up and down series from reading all your reviews.
