The second great battle at Gettysburg is about to go down and this time it’s all on Caxton.
Everything she learned from Akerley, from the police, from being a strong woman in a man’s world - it’s all been for This. One. Night.
The best part of the book: the battles, police investigation, really everything in the here and now.
The worst part of the book: the flashbacks to the Civil War. This should have been done better or not at all.
Overall, four stars. Next month, next book.
