A Murder of Quality by John LeCarré ★★☆☆☆

There are dislikable characters and then there are loathable characters - this story was a mix of both.  A dog was abused and killed, that was a murder I wanted avenged.  It was, so two stars.  

Good grief, the next book had better make up for this.

    Bummer for you. But it seems this author is up and down with his books as I have seen you give four stars and then ratchet it down to two stars. Just out of curiosity, is that normal for this author to have books that are up and down with story content?
